Job Title: Revenue Accountant Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Revenue Accountant Specialist to join our Finance team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.

Key Responsibilities

The Revenue Accountant Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Assisting in monthly revenue accounting close activities by preparing journal entries and performing key account reconciliations.
  • Reviewing standard and non-standard contracts to determine the appropriate revenue recognition under U.S. GAAP, ensuring ASC 606 compliance.
  • Managing and maintaining NetSuite ARM to ensure accurate and compliant revenue recognition in accordance with ASC 606.
  • Collaborating with sales, customer success, revenue operations, and FP&A to obtain data and reporting for monthly revenue entries.
  • Developing, maintaining, and continuously improving internal process documentation for clarity and efficiency across teams.
  • Playing a key role in the company financial audit, preparing and reviewing revenue-related schedules for external auditors.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field or ACCA/CIMA qualification or progress toward certification strongly preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in SaaS revenue accounting with a focus on ASC 606.
  • Proficiency with ERP and revenue tools (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, CPQ).
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to support both strategic and hands-on work.
