Sales Development Associate

As a sales development associate, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through market research and networking.

This role requires strong negotiation skills, a keen understanding of the sales cycle, and the ability to prepare and submit competitive bids.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and opportunities
  • Prepare and submit well-structured bid proposals in response to RFPs (Request for Proposals) and RFQs (Request for Quotations)
  • Analyze bid specifications and requirements to ensure compliance and maximize bid potential

  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions to achieve favorable outcomes
  • Track and report on bid status, outcomes, and sales performance metrics
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a focus on bidding and proposal preparation
  • Strong understanding of the bidding process, including RFPs, RFQs, and contract negotiations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain client relationships
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with CRM software and sales tracking tools
  • Familiarity with industry-specific bidding platforms and databases
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
