Job Overview

The Regulatory Compliance Officer plays a crucial role in ensuring adherence to regulatory obligations. This includes overseeing compliance frameworks, advising internal stakeholders, and managing reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and track regulatory issuances to ensure timely compliance.
  • Conduct gap assessments on programs, processes, and products to identify regulatory compliance improvements.
  • Assess and mitigate risks associated with new business initiatives.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to internal teams, integrating regulatory considerations into decision-making.
  • Provide guidance on risks related to proposed products, services, and operational changes.
  • Prepare reports and memos to keep management informed of relevant developments.
  • Lead the design and implementation of policies and programs aligned with evolving regulations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure policies are effectively executed and integrated into business operations.
  • Conduct periodic policy reviews and updates to align with regulatory changes.
  • Oversee reporting to ensure timely and accurate submissions.
  • Manage responses to inquiries, audits, and inspections.
  • Implement corrective actions and follow-up procedures to address compliance issues.
  • Drive compliance-related projects, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business objectives.
  • Work closely with internal teams, subsidiaries, and external regulators to maintain compliance and address concerns proactively.
  • Promote a culture of compliance through training and awareness initiatives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, Life Sciences, or a related field.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in regulatory compliance or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant regulations (e.g., SEC).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in publicly listed companies.
  • Proficiency in G Suite and compliance management software.
