Bookkeeping Expert for Retail and E-commerce

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team in maintaining accurate financial records and streamlining transaction processing for fast-growing businesses in the jewelry retail industry.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and possess excellent communication skills to manage multiple tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately record and categorize daily financial transactions using QBO.
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, including invoice entry, payments, and reconciliations.
  • Maintain an organized general ledger and reconcile bank and credit card accounts regularly.
  • Provide accounting support, including inventory tracking, cost-of-goods-sold (COGS) allocations, and POS system integration.
  • Assist with financial analysis tasks, such as generating financial statements and identifying trends for cost optimization or revenue improvement.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
  • At least 2 years of bookkeeping experience in a retail or e-commerce setting.
  • Proficiency in QBO and experience using Bill.com is required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills to manage multiple tasks independently.
