Software Development Specialist

As a mid-senior level full-time software development specialist, you will be responsible for supporting our Payroll product and working with US customers to troubleshoot and fix software bugs. You will also contribute to developing new software features using your strong background in application development.

  • Investigate, identify, and fix software bugs reported by clients.
  • Provide timely L3 technical support to clients within the US time zone.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address client issues and improve software performance.
  • Document bug fixes and troubleshooting methods for future reference.
  • Help in developing new software features.

Key responsibilities include investigating and fixing software bugs, providing technical support, collaborating with teams, documenting solutions, and contributing to new feature development.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related major.
  • 5+ years of working experience in application development.
  • Proficiency in one of the following NodeJS frameworks: ExpressJS or NestJS.
  • Proficiency in ReactJS.
  • Experience building scalable systems and test-driven CI/CD; commitment to quality software development.
  • Experience with SQL databases.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS.
  • Strong programming principles and design patterns.
  • Keeps up with latest technological trends and continuously improves productivity.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Willing to work following the US time zone.
  • High-speed and stable internet connection (at least 50 Mbps); document speed test results and computer specs.
  • Willing to attend occasional in-person meetings in Metro Manila.
