Job Overview

The Senior Software Engineer plays a key role in designing, coding, testing, correcting and documenting complex software solutions. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platform tools including Power Apps, Power Automate and PowerBI is essential to deliver and contribute in planning, enhancing and implementing digital workflows.

Main Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate expertise in developing and supporting Power Platform applications with a proven track record of excellence technically and professionally.
  • Design and develop complex enhancements or solutions identifying the best approach to achieve business goals as a Subject Matter Expert.
  • Handle multiple complex development and support tasks prioritizing effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Lead teams during shifts collaborating with Delivery and Platform Leads to monitor development tasks and escalate issues.
  • Drive group and application review meetings to ensure quality solutions and services are delivered.
  • Participate in Disaster Recovery exercises maintaining adherence to Disaster Recovery Policy and Technical Recovery Plans.
  • Foster flexibility in work arrangements to accommodate team or client requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Relevant years of experience in software development and support.
  • Power Apps Power Automate and/or Power BI expertise.
  • Strong presentation interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Expertise in SDLC and Service Management tools e.g. ServiceNow.
  • Software development design and integration experience.
  • Analytical/Problem Solving skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Self-Driven attitude responding to priorities with urgency and pace.
  • Agile Methodology proficiency.
