Job Title: Software Development Expert

At a leading organization, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Expert to join our Data Infrastructure team. Our mission is to make reading accessible to everyone, regardless of their learning abilities.

We believe that technology should be used to empower people and improve their lives. That's why we're building a platform that uses artificial intelligence to turn text into audio, making it easier for people with dyslexia, ADHD, and other learning differences to access information.

The role involves working on the backend services, including payments, analytics, subscriptions, new products, and external APIs. You will collaborate closely with our scientists to shift the cost/throughput/quality frontier, delivering richer data at bigger scale and lower cost to power our next-generation models.

You will also work closely with our AI team and leadership to craft the dataset roadmap to power Speechify's next-generation consumer and enterprise products.

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong background in software development, proficiency in bash/Python scripting in Linux environments, Docker, and Infrastructure-as-Code concepts. Experience with web crawlers and large-scale data processing workflows is a plus.
