Junior Financial Analyst Role Overview

The Junior Financial Analyst will play a pivotal role in assisting with data gathering, development, and consolidation of annual and mid-year budgets and forecasts.

  • This involves collaborating with cost center managers to support near- and long-term P&L forecasting.
  • Aiding in financial budget/forecast revisions focusing on cost reduction is also a key responsibility.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparing and processing monthly budgets for review by cost center managers.
  • Consolidating feedback and addressing concerns from cost center managers is essential.
  • Preparing management reports related to monthly variance analysis is a critical task.
  • Assisting in preparing weekly and 12-month rolling cash forecasts is another important duty.

Role Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, economics, business administration, or a related field is required.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in financial planning and analysis is necessary.
  • Client-facing experience is essential.
  • Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills are required.
  • Proficiency in most Microsoft Office Applications, databases, and accounting software is necessary.
