Temporary Staging Area Project Coordinator

The role of Temporary Staging Area Project Coordinator involves overseeing the setup and operation of a temporary staging area (TSA) on a construction project. This includes ensuring the proper management, coordination, and flow of materials and equipment within the TSA to support smooth site operations.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and design the temporary staging area to optimize space utilization and material handling efficiency.
  • Coordinate receipt, storage, and dispatch of materials and equipment to ensure timely delivery to work fronts or end-users.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials in/out of the staging area to prevent loss or damage.
  • Implement safety, environmental, and quality procedures within the staging area to minimize risks and improve overall performance.
  • Supervise daily operations, assign tasks to team members, and monitor progress to achieve set objectives.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a similar role or relevant field.
  • Knowledge of warehouse layout, material handling, and construction materials.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and AutoCAD (or equivalent software).
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
