We are looking for a Temporary Buyer to support our procurement operations for vessel-related parts and services. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and thrives in a dynamic, multicultural environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle operational procurement of spare parts, consumables, and services for assigned vessels.

  • Coordinate logistics and forwarding for various shipping modes and urgencies.

  • Act as main point of contact for transactional purchasing processes.

  • Collaborate with vendors to resolve issues and ensure smooth delivery.

  • Support invoice processing and timely payments.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers.

  • Provide input on supplier performance and identify improvement areas.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field.

  • At least 2 years of experience in logistics, procurement, or supply chain.

  • Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably IFS10 (strong advantage).

  • Strong multitasking, communication, and organizational skills.

  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently.

  • Comfortable working in a multicultural setting.

  • Contract length: 6 months

Priority will be given to candidates with IFS system experience and procurement background.
