Cybersecurity Compliance Manager Job Description

Key Responsibilities:
  • We are seeking an experienced Compliance and Security professional to develop, write, and maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with SOC 2, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.
  • The successful candidate will manage and execute SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2 implementation projects, implementing and overseeing technical controls in cloud environments, including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • A key aspect of this role is leading a small team, driving success through effective leadership and empowering colleagues to deliver outstanding results.
  • Regular security audits and risk assessments are essential to identifying vulnerabilities and ensuring continuous improvement of our security posture.
  • To ensure seamless integration of compliance and security best practices into our workflows, the ideal candidate will work closely with different teams.
  • Staying up-to-date on new regulatory requirements and industry best practices is crucial for long-term success.
  • Proficiency in compliance platforms like Drata, Vanta, and SecureFrame is necessary for this position.

This role requires strong knowledge and experience in implementing technical controls in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in policy writing, implementing SOC 2 Type 1 and Type 2, and hands-on experience with various compliance frameworks.

Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required.
  • Three or more years of experience managing a small team.
  • Proven experience in managing compliance programs and familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 frameworks.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in implementing technical controls in cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, and Azure.
  • Excellent communication and writing skills in English are essential.
  • The ability to work independently with a strong sense of initiative is vital for success in this role.
