Senior Cybersecurity Specialist

Job Description

The Senior Cybersecurity Specialist will be responsible for providing expert-level guidance and support to clients in the pharma and biotech industries. They will work closely with clients to identify and mitigate potential security risks, and provide ongoing monitoring and maintenance of client security systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide strategic consulting and leadership management to clients on emerging security threats and best practices.
  • Monitor and maintain client security systems, including endpoint protection, email security, log aggregation, network security systems, identity threat protection, dark web protection, data loss prevention, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Respond to and manage security incidents, including incident investigations, malware detections, and zero-day vulnerabilities.
  • Research evolving security threats and provide detailed analysis for security communication with clients.
Day-to-Day Tasks:
  • Monitoring and maintaining client security systems.
  • Responding to security alerts and performing remediation actions to mitigate or eliminate security threats.
  • Analyzing vulnerability scans and reports to provide remediation plans to clients.
  • Researching new security trends and keeping up to date on security best practices.
  • Working with clients to develop and implement security policies and procedures that meet their specific security needs.
