Software Development Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Software Development Specialist to join our team. This pivotal role will focus on shaping technical design, code quality, and delivery cadence to ensure a robust and maintainable desktop system.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and integrate software solutions in response to identified defects or feature requests, while maintaining the required quality factors and software requirements.
  • Drive architectural standards across UI and business logic, preparing systems for API enablement.
  • Develop automated unit tests according to company standards.
  • Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering related fields.
  • Familiarity with Agile and Scrum development frameworks.
  • Proficient in source code analysis, software development in Windows environments using C# (.NET 6/8), legacy VB6 (for reverse engineering), Git, and object-oriented analysis/design.
  • 5+ years of software engineering experience; 2+ years in a technical leadership role.
  • Expertise in C# WinForms and .NET 6/8, familiarity with legacy systems and refactoring practices.
  • Strong knowledge of multi-layered architecture and DLL-based modularization.
  • Experience in API development and system design for future SaaS migration.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps Pipelines.
  • Experience with Front-end development is advantageous, particularly React.JS.
