Strategic Growth Officer

As a Strategic Growth Officer, you play a pivotal role in driving business expansion and achieving success. Your responsibility lies in connecting entrepreneurs with global buyers to facilitate a successful exit.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a portfolio of high-value digital assets and online businesses, fostering strategic growth opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with sellers to prepare deal materials, reviewing and preparing profit and loss statements.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for interested buyers, guiding negotiations and closing deals.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience by streamlining deal management processes.
  • Prioritize active buyer interest (80%) while supporting sellers (20%).
  • Proactively tackle projects that drive strategic goals, internal initiatives, and continuous improvement.
Competencies and Qualifications:
  • 2-3 years of experience in M&A Analysis, Investment Analysis, Self-Service Brokerage, or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in working with Australia or US-based companies.
  • Finance or accounting background, with CA/CPA certification a plus.
  • Business brokerage, investment banking, or consulting experience with a revenue focus.
  • Previous sales experience in finance or technology industries is essential.
  • A proven track record in hitting sales quotas or revenue targets.
  • Excellent communication skills—written, verbal, and interpersonal.
  • Strong analytical thinking and commercial instincts.
  • Tech comfort: proficient in HubSpot, Gmail, and Zoom.
  • Self-motivated, organized, and a natural relationship builder.
  • Resilient and adaptable—you thrive in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Interest in digital assets, online products, and entrepreneurship.
