The role of a Legal Client Intake Specialist involves serving as the primary point of contact for potential clients seeking legal representation.
- Collect and assess essential information from prospective clients to determine their suitability for legal services.
- Collaborate with legal professionals to ensure accurate case initiation and manage multiple client interactions in a remote setting.
- Utilize the firm's case management platform to accurately input all necessary data and track client inquiries, referred cases, and declined cases.
- Manage new client intakes and communicate with them regarding case assignment and expectations.
- Prepare and distribute intake summaries, draft fee agreements, and related documents for attorney review.
- Maintain digital records of all communications, intake forms, and supporting documents while ensuring proper handling of sensitive and confidential information.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a legal, administrative, or client service field.
- At least 2 years of experience in a legal support or client intake-related position.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
- Familiarity with U.S. legal terminology and procedures.
- Proficiency in using legal practice management and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced remote environment with minimal supervision.
