Australian Mortgage Broker Assistant/Parabroker/Settlement Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Mortgage Broker Assistant.

The successful candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years experience in an Australian banking or lending industry and have proficiency in Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the broker throughout the loan application process, ensuring timely and efficient completion of tasks.
  • Assist with all stages of the loan process, from initial contact through to settlement, providing high-level administrative support to the Mortgage Brokers and their applications.
  • Request client information, liaise with clients directly, conduct needs analysis, serviceability assessments, product assessment, and funding position, maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Research lender policies, prepare loan comparisons, and package client loan applications, demonstrating exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Lender follow-up and status reporting, providing regular updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Ownership of compliance-related matters, capturing documentation and data in the CRM system, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Completing loan serviceability, ordering valuations, preparing forms, gathering rate quotes, arranging loan doc execution, and arranging settlements, delivering results-driven outcomes.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years Australian experience supporting a mortgage broker or banking/lending industry, with a proven track record of success.
  • Experience with Aggregator CRM software and Applyonline/Simpology (LoanApp) lodgment systems, demonstrating technical expertise and adaptability.
  • Understanding of data privacy, Australian Best Interest Duty, and Responsible Lending legislation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Accountable and accurate work, with a focus on quality and precision in all tasks and activities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
  • Ability to work in a cohesive and high-paced environment, prioritising tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Well-presented and detail-oriented, with a commitment to delivering high-quality results and exceeding expectations.
  • IT savvy and able to learn software quickly, with a willingness to adapt to new technologies and processes.
  • Highly organised and proficient at multi-tasking, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
