Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the financial and operational standing of various teams in Resource Development and recommend necessary financial controls.
  • Prepare budget proposals for local and international grants and support the financial planning process for resource development teams.

Key Objectives:

  1. Carry out performance commitments that align with departmental and organizational goals.
  2. Ensure timely and high-quality reporting and analysis for financial and operational results.
  3. Prepare budget proposals for local and international grants in collaboration with IRAM, NRD, and project design teams.
  4. Facilitate financial planning and budget consolidation for resource development teams.
  5. Support Senior Finance Officer in achieving departmental annual targets.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance and at least 3 years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, and reporting.

A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial systems, management reporting, and financial planning is also required.

Additionally, excellent communication and influence skills are necessary, along with good time management and organizational skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the use of Microsoft Office programs, especially Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, is an advantage.

Solid knowledge of accounting software, such as Sun System/SIMMA, is preferred.

High-level computer literacy and knowledge of spreadsheets, word processing, and accounting software are essential.
