Job Title: Freight Operations Coordinator

Job Description:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in logistics, freight forwarding or supply chain. They must be able to manage customer shipments from PO raised to delivery, working collaboratively with other teams.

This is a night shift contractor role, requiring a high level of organization and attention to detail. The successful candidate will ensure that Zencargo delivers the highest standard for customers and all shipments move 'on-time' and exceptions are handled appropriately.

Key Responsibilities:

  • End-to-end movement of customer products through our network (both imports and exports), including intermodal movements.
  • Understand and follow customer requirements through their standard operating procedures (SOP).
  • Respond to customer escalations, collaborating with customer success managers to solve customer issues quickly and ensure smooth operations at origin and destination.
  • Ensure shipment and data metrics consistently meet customer expectations.
  • Collaborate with operations partners and external stakeholders to ensure the success of the shipment lifecycle.

Skill Requirements:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Able to react quickly whilst maintaining focus and attention to detail.
  • Embracing change management - short/medium and long term.
  • EU Languages desirable but not essential.
  • Experience with ERP/Microsoft Excel, PP + Word.
