Lead Accountant Position

This is a challenging role for a skilled accountant who can handle various tasks related to bookkeeping, client communication, and process improvement.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing client portfolios, ensuring timely and accurate completion of bookkeeping tasks, and communicating with clients as needed. They will also review and reconcile client accounts, prepare financial reports, and manage year-end accounts preparation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage client portfolios and ensure timely completion of bookkeeping tasks
  • Communicate with clients and provide regular updates on account performance
  • Review and reconcile client accounts, preparing financial reports and managing year-end accounts preparation
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows and recommend improvements
  • Develop and maintain documentation of bookkeeping processes

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in bookkeeping software (including BrightPay, Xero, TaxCalc, Karbon, Dext)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail
