Business Intelligence Analyst Role

The primary objective of this position is to collect and analyze data related to learner performance.

In this capacity, you will assess trends and patterns in training and operational performance data, evaluate the effectiveness of training curricula, and collaborate with learning leaders to implement solutions.

You will:

  • Analyze complex datasets to offer in-depth analysis and drive improvements in learning curriculum and instructional experiences.
  • Conduct root-cause analyses on performance deviations and outliers, identifying both immediate and long-term solutions.
  • Translate analytical findings into clear, concise, and business-friendly narratives and recommendations.
  • Partner closely with instructional designers, trainers, and leadership teams to implement data-driven learning solutions.

Presentation of insights to stakeholders through intuitive dashboards, reports, and support for leadership presentations tailored for non-technical audiences is also a key aspect of this role.

To succeed, you'll need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Data Analysis, Business Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Education, or a related analytical field (or equivalent experience).
  • Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Excel dashboards).
  • Demonstrated expertise in analyzing complex datasets and translating insights into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Solid proficiency in Excel, SQL, and data manipulation techniques.

Leveraging your analytical skills in Learning & Development or educational analytics environments, conducting quality trending, quality improvement, and process improvement initiatives, or deploying large-scale analytical solutions in complex, matrixed organizations would be beneficial.
