The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive matters with tact and diplomacy. They will also have a strong understanding of HR Practices, Policies, Labor Laws, and Employee Relations, as well as experience working with governing bodies such as the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) and Ministry of Manpower (MOM).

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to improve employee engagement and retention.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to drive business outcomes through people-centric initiatives.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to employees to support their career development and growth.
  • Conduct investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring that they are handled promptly and fairly.
  • Work closely with the payroll team to ensure accurate and timely payment of wages and benefits.
  • Manage the leave process, ensuring that employees are aware of their entitlements and that the process is fair and consistent.
  • Develop and deliver training programs to support the development of employees.
  • Identify and develop solutions to address gaps in HR systems and processes.
  • Provide support to the HR Director, APAC in driving business outcomes through people-centric initiatives.
  • Perform additional duties as required by the role.
