Audit Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Audit Professional to join our team. Our company is a collaboration of top accounting firms in the United States, dedicated to providing exceptional client service with the highest level of integrity.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will assist in performing audits of client financial statements under the supervision of senior personnel. This role requires strong research, organizational, computer, and analytical skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in performing audit of client financial statements under supervision of manager/senior personnel on team
  • Completing audit workpapers by documenting audit tests and findings
  • Research and develop knowledge of current audit legislation to ensure compliance with US federal, state, and local regulations
  • Collect, assimilate, and analyze client data and use standard processes and tools to complete assigned project work
  • Assist in identifying technical issues in various projects and share suggestions with senior personnel to mitigate the same
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting from an accredited college
  • 3-7 years of recent public accounting experience | Audit
  • ERISA, Employee Benefit Plans Experience Required
  • Understanding of generally accepted auditing standards, generally accepted accounting principles (FASB, GAAP, OCBOA) and industry specific rules
  • Experience with a paperless auditing application preferred
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Business Continuity Plan: Power and Internet Backup is a MUST
