Senior Accounting Professional

We are seeking a skilled Senior GL Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting group, you will be responsible for certain month-end close, reconciliation and reporting procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and prepare monthly close packages for foreign subsidiaries, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly Cost Plus JEs, funding, and cash projections, utilizing your expertise in financial analysis and forecasting.
  • Perform the day-to-day accounting processes and procedures relating to fixed assets, prepaids, payroll, and certain accruals, maintaining accurate records and reports.
  • Enter monthly journal entries and perform monthly reconciliations and account analysis for designated balance sheet accounts and certain operating accounts, identifying and addressing any discrepancies.
  • Review daily bank activities and prepare JEs for bank reconciliations, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
  • Assist on quarterly reviews and year-end audit procedures with external auditors, providing support and guidance as needed.
  • Assist with SOX controls and facilitate PBCs for external and internal auditors, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare monthly BS & P/L Fluxes, providing valuable insights into financial performance.
  • Assist with technical accounting, as needed, staying up-to-date on industry developments and best practices.
