Job Title: Quality Assurance Specialist

About the Role:

This position is responsible for ensuring that digital banking builds meet business and customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have experience in functional and regression testing, as well as a strong understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create comprehensive test cases based on requirements and design documents
  • Perform functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing on digital banking builds/releases
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and UX designers to ensure quality standards are upheld
  • Raise detailed and reproducible defect reports; verify bug fixes
  • Maintain and execute manual test cases
  • Contribute to building and executing basic automated test scripts
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies: standups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
  • Support UAT activities and documentation for regulatory/compliance needs
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience in QA testing (digital banking or fintech environment experience is a plus)
  • Good understanding of SDLC and STLC in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong knowledge of functional and regression testing methodologies
  • Experience with using Jira or similar tools
  • Experience testing APIs using tools like Postman, and usage automation tools like BrowserStack is a bonus
  • Understanding of banking products and digital user journeys is an advantage
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills to articulate issues and work with cross-functional teams
  • Proactive and eager to learn, especially digital banking trends
  • Team player with a collaborative mindset
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple testing tasks
