We are seeking a skilled Software Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and be able to identify and document software defects using a defect tracking system.
The Software Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing comprehensive manual test cases and test plans. They will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability and quality.
- This role involves performing thorough regression testing to ensure existing functionality is not compromised by new changes.
- The successful candidate will have the opportunity to participate in design and requirement reviews to provide feedback from a QA perspective.
- They will also be responsible for documenting and communicating test results, status reports, and defect metrics to the QA Manager and development team.
In addition to technical skills, the Software Quality Assurance Specialist should possess excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to new technologies are also essential for success in this role.
