Senior Medical Records Specialist

As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in the medical records retrieval process. Your expertise will ensure that every intake request is accurate, complete, and optimized for downstream success.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify relevant providers associated with client treatment and locate billing providers using tools like Chartswap or direct calls.
- Review and correct incoming Release of Information forms (ROIs), prepare accurate base forms, and generate complete submission packets.
- Conduct thorough quality assurance reviews of each ROI packet and maintain documentation accuracy in internal and client-facing notes.
- Assign requests to team members based on workload and utilization, escalating special provider requirements to Client Success Managers as needed.
- Prior experience requesting medical records from providers on behalf of law firms, with a proven track record of meeting turnaround time and throughput targets.
- Strong attention to detail, proficiency with Adobe and PDF editing/combining tools, and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive problem-solving mindset and ability to manage multiple requests simultaneously.
