The outpatient coder is a vital team member responsible for accurately assigning diagnostic and procedural codes to patient charts of moderate complexity.


Core Responsibilities:
  • Assign ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes according to established coding rules and regulations.
  • Extract relevant clinical and other data elements into the medical record.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in same day surgery and/or observation medical record coding.
  • REQUIRED: AHIMA or AAPC approved credential.

Work Arrangement:
  • Permanent remote work setup.
