Licenced Psychologist or Guidance Counselor - A Key Role in Workplace Wellbeing

Employment Type: Full-time Position

Role Overview

The Licenced Psychologist or Guidance Counsellor will play a pivotal role in enhancing psychological safety, emotional resilience, and overall workplace wellbeing. Responsibilities include delivering one-on-one sessions, facilitating group support, providing timely assistance for urgent needs, and leading training focused on mental health, stress management, and coping strategies.

We are seeking qualified professionals with a background in Clinical Counselling or Psychology. The ideal candidate should be a fully licensed Registered Psychologist or Guidance Counsellor with experience in trauma-informed care and resilience-building, as well as the ability to build trust, engage diverse teams, and respond effectively in fast-paced environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Individual Well-being Sessions:
    • Conduct regular 1:1 well-being sessions, focusing on employee growth and development.
    • Provide timely crisis intervention support in response to urgent wellbeing needs.
    • Develop and implement individualized plans incorporating stress-reduction techniques, coping strategies, and decision-making skills.
  • Group Sessions:
    • Facilitate bi-weekly small-group sessions focusing on peer support in a psychologically safe space to foster healthy working relationships and social connection.
    • Tailor sessions based on team dynamics, feedback from Team Leads, or insights gained by the wellbeing team.
  • Training & Development:
    • Deliver group training sessions including onboarding, well-being and resiliency training, and annual refresher training.
    • Facilitate additional approved ad hoc training sessions as requested, aligned with organizational needs.
