Key to our financial success is the experienced Property Accounting Bookkeeper who will be responsible for managing multiple books/entities, recording financial transactions, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.

Accounting Role Description

The ideal candidate will have experience navigating accounting software and understanding Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and full-cycle accounting. You will work closely with our team to manage financial data, reconcile bank accounts, and run regular expense reports.

Responsibilities:
  • Manage multiple books/entities
  • Record financial transactions for Accounts Payable, obtaining approvals before paying vendors
  • Record sales of goods or services between related parties and third parties
  • Record real estate purchases and sales using closing statements
  • Reconcile bank accounts and credit cards
  • Verify transactions and ledgers
  • Run regular expense reports and distribute them to management
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations
  • Perform other tasks as assigned
Requirements:
  • You must have your own computer equipment meeting the specifications of at least i5 Gen 11 and 16GB RAM, along with an extra monitor
  • Your internet connection speed should be no less than 50 Mbps
  • A proper workstation setup is essential
  • You must have a headset with a noise-cancellation feature for effective communication
