Embedded Linux Field Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Embedded Linux Field Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering group, you will be responsible for expanding our reach in mission-critical industries such as Automotive, Medical Devices, Industrial Systems, Robotics, and Telco.

Your primary focus will be on delivering Embedded Linux solutions that meet the unique requirements of our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design and implement solutions, and provide exceptional customer service.

  • You will engage with customers during presales to understand their needs and explain our technology.
  • You will elaborate solutions to be proposed to prospective clients.
  • You will participate in the delivery of select projects related to Embedded Linux.
  • You will convey market requirements to key stakeholders and help develop or refine generic solutions to unlock market potential.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have extensive experience with Linux, particularly Debian or Ubuntu. You should also have a solid understanding of distribution packaging, software design, system debugging, and embedded software development methodologies.

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
  • Fluency in at least one of Golang, Python, C, C++, or Rust.
  • Professional written and spoken English, in addition to the local language.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Result-oriented, ability to multi-task.
  • A personal drive to meet commitments.
  • An humble learner and quick study.
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time for customer meetings, company events, and conferences.
