Paralegal Position for Litigation Support

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled paralegal to join our team in litigation support. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for preparing and managing cases, conducting legal research, drafting documents, and assisting with trial preparation.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough legal research to produce concise and well-supported findings.
  • Draft, review, and file pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses with precision.
  • Organize and maintain accurate and up-to-date legal files to ensure compliance with procedural requirements.
  • Prepare trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials in advance of hearings and trials.
  • Track deadlines, hearings, and schedules to prevent delays and ensure smooth case progression.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders to gather and clarify case details.
  • Manage document production and review during the discovery phase.
  • Provide proactive administrative and litigation support throughout all phases of case management.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a paralegal working in litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of litigation procedures, discovery processes, and filings.
  • Proficiency with case management systems (Clio, PracticePanther, or equivalent).
  • Skilled in legal research tools such as LexisNexis, Westlaw, or PACER.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Reliable high-speed internet access with a tested backup option.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience in civil litigation, personal injury, or commercial disputes.
  • Familiarity with e-discovery platforms (Relativity, Everlaw, Concordance).
  • Experience with client intake and fact gathering.
  • Proficiency in trial presentation software (TrialDirector, CaseMap).
  • Paralegal certification from an accredited program.
