Senior Billing Specialist

About the Role:

Olly Olly is seeking a seasoned Senior Billing Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing end-to-end billing operations, including subscription lifecycles, disputes, reconciliations, and revenue tracking.

You will take ownership of our billing workflows, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all AR processes. Your expertise with Stripe Subscriptions, HubSpot, and collections outreach will be invaluable assets to our team.

We are looking for a skilled professional with 3+ years of experience in SaaS or subscription-based billing environments. If you have a strong background in AR execution, dispute representation, and process optimization, we want to hear from you

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage subscription lifecycles in Stripe, including new setups, plan changes, proration, cancellations, and reconciliations.
  • Own dispute representation: prepare and submit evidence packets to protect company revenue.
  • Execute and maintain billing workflows in HubSpot, automating tickets and cross-team communication.
  • Support month-end close: AR aging reports, reconciliations, and cash collection forecasting.
  • Investigate delinquencies: analyze root cause, adjust accounts, and handle outbound collections calls/emails.
  • Partner with Sales & Customer Success to ensure accurate subscription data.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of hands-on billing and accounts receivable experience in a SaaS or subscription business.
  • Proven expertise with Stripe Subscriptions (not just invoice/payment processing).
  • Direct experience preparing and submitting dispute representation evidence to banks/payment processors.
  • Strong knowledge of HubSpot for AR/billing workflows.
  • Familiarity with collections outreach (calls + email), but with a bias toward solving the process and data issues behind delinquency.
  • Advanced Excel/Google Sheets skills for reconciliations, AR aging, and reporting.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable owning critical AR processes in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
