Are you an experienced accounting professional seeking a challenging role with growth opportunities? We have an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our internal finance team remotely.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day accounting operations for multiple portfolio companies. This includes maintaining full-cycle accounting, recording journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

  • Maintain full-cycle accounting for multiple portfolio companies in various industries.
  • Record journal entries, perform account reconciliations, and prepare financial statements.
  • Manage accounts payable/accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecast analysis, and variance reporting.
  • Support audits and tax preparation processes in coordination with external auditors and tax advisors.
  • Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and internal controls.
  • Liaise with stakeholders and external service providers to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Utilize NetSuite to process and manage financial data across client entities.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA or progress toward CPA preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferably in a multi-client or multi-entity environment.
  • Proficiency with NetSuite ERP required.
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and internal controls.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
