Job Title: Financial Operations Manager
Description:The Financial Operations Manager oversees the entire financial close process, ensuring timely and accurate completion. They are responsible for managing the accounting team, providing guidance on US GAAP compliance, and implementing effective internal controls.
This role plays a critical part in developing and maintaining financial models, performing variance analysis, and preparing financial statements. The Financial Operations Manager also identifies areas for process improvements and implements changes to increase efficiency.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the month-end close process, including reviewing financial statements and ensuring accuracy.
- Manage the accounting team, providing guidance on financial reporting, and conducting training sessions.
- Develop and maintain financial models, perform variance analysis, and prepare financial statements.
- Identify areas for process improvements and implement changes to increase efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with US GAAP standards and internal controls.
- 5+ years of experience in financial close, variance analysis, and payroll processing.
- Strong proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with US GAAP and accounting best practices is a plus.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a remote team.
