This role requires close collaboration with various leaders at Thumbtack to drive business growth. As the company expands rapidly, you will play a key part in providing strategic support for new initiatives.

The FP&A Senior Analyst position reports directly to the Finance Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop accurate forecasts and budgets for operational expenses by aligning assumptions with stakeholders and understanding where, what, and why expenses occur.
  • Evaluate trade-offs and financial sensitivities to inform better decision-making and scenario planning.
  • Provide front-line support for ad hoc financial analysis requests and inquiries.
  • Develop efficiency metrics to inform growth strategies.
  • Establish strong relationships with key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
  • 6+ years of relevant financial analysis experience in FP&A, corporate finance, or management consulting.
  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills using Excel and G-Suite.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
