About the Role
  • The medical virtual assistant will manage incoming and outgoing calls regarding patient inquiries, appointments, and data verification.
  • Strong phone etiquette and communication skills are essential for this position.
  • The candidate will be responsible for navigating Electronic Medical Records (EMRs) such as Cerner, Epic, AthenaNet/AthenaHealth, and NextGen.
  • They will verify healthcare insurance coverage and eligibility, providing administrative support as needed.
  • The ideal candidate will possess excellent verbal and written English communication skills, with 1–2 years of experience in a medical-related field.
  • Familiarity with medical terminologies and intermediate skills with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office are highly desirable.
