Job Overview:

The Community Engagement Specialist role is a key position at an organization, responsible for cultivating and maintaining a vibrant community across various platforms.

This role combines community development with strategic communications – creating engaging content, curating a content calendar, and acting as the bridge between the organization and its community.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement strategies to build, grow, and maintain a healthy and active community across multiple channels.
  • Create, curate, and schedule content to drive awareness, engagement, and growth.
  • Craft compelling copy for posts, captions, and community announcements that resonate with community members.
  • Host community events such as contests, challenges, and live sessions to increase engagement.
  • Engage with community members in a friendly and approachable manner, representing the organization's voice within the community.
  • Collect, organize, and share feedback from community members with internal teams to inform product improvements and community initiatives.
  • Analyze community health through metrics and report on engagement, participation, and sentiment.
Requirements:
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in community management, social media management, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with platforms such as Discord, Twitch, and YouTube is preferred.
  • Bonus: Content creation skills (graphic design, short-form video editing, livestream management).
