Accounting Support Position Overview

The ideal candidate for this accounting support position is an experienced professional with a proven track record of managing daily accounting functions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing financial records and creating reports
  • Reconciling bank statements and administering accounting software programs (e.g. SAP)
Key Responsibilities

  • Enter financial transactions data into databases daily

  • Organize bank deposits, general ledger postings, and statements

  • Collaborate with the accounting department and other personnel on processing financial transactions

  • Create and maintain accurate accounting documents and records

  • Perform timely and accurate accounts reconciliation

  • Prepare detailed reports or summaries of your activity areas for company executives or top managers

  • Monitor and resolve problems in accounting procedures or related documentation

  • Ensure compliance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws

  • Stay informed about significant changes and trends related to your area of responsibility

Requirements

  • At least 3 years' experience as an Accounting Clerk, Accounts Receivable Clerk, or Accounts Payable Clerk

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Profound experience with bookkeeping and basic accounting principles

  • Good practical experience with spreadsheets and financial reports

  • Good knowledge of accounting software, MS Office, and databases

  • Knowledge of filing and recordkeeping tasks

  • Accuracy, high performance, and close attention to detail

  • Strong data entry, mathematical, and word processing skills

  • Organized and responsible
