Job Title: Workforce Strategist
About the Role

This is a key opportunity to leverage data-driven insights and analytical skills to drive business performance and operational excellence. As a Workforce Strategist, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic guidance and support in workforce management, allocation, forecasting, scheduling, reporting analysis, and utilising business intelligence tools to drive operational performance and enhance decision-making capabilities.

You will be responsible for:

  1. Analysing workforce data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement. Using metrics to assess workforce effectiveness and productivity.
  2. Predicting work volume, handling time and staff shrinkage, and providing staffing recommendations to enhance workforce management and centre-wide performance.
  3. Collecting, maintaining, and analysing business data, including turnover rates, employee demographics, and performance metrics. Ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  4. Collaborating with the Analytics Team to create and present reports and dashboards to stakeholders that highlight key workforce metrics, insights, and recommendations for action.
  5. Proactively analysing inputs and overseeing implementation of continuously improved forecasts and plans; measuring performance, identifying opportunities, and providing recommendations on how to achieve Key Performance Indicators (KPI) metrics.
  6. Creating, maintaining, and distributing reporting and plans to guide various teams within the organisation to success and add value to the broader organisation.
  7. Researching and recommending performance and efficiency improvement processes and changes.
  8. Utilising Power BI experience and solid knowledge of workforce and business intelligence concepts and tools to deliver reporting solutions, data analytics, and decision support to business leaders.
  9. Partnering and collaborating with stakeholders to deliver data and reporting solutions that enable the business to meet or exceed customer and organisational expectations.

To succeed in this role, you must possess the necessary skills below:

  • Highly proficient in Excel and overall MS Suite products, including Power BI.
  • Familiarity with or understanding of sales system, CRM and phone system.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical or business discipline or related experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in workforce management, reporting analysis, business intelligence, or related field.
  • Excellent critical thinking with the ability to serve as a change champion and encourage team members to find innovative ways of meeting business demands.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Proven track record of driving performance improvement initiatives.
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
Working Arrangements

This role works mostly in a remote working setup. To be considered for this opportunity, you must be able to demonstrate your home working environment meets the following requirements:

  • Reliable backup internet: at least 10mbps speed.
