Quality Rater

Overview of the Position

The role of a Quality Rater involves evaluating online content in the local language using proprietary rating systems and guidelines provided by the client. Raters will review web pages, links, and questions, sometimes conducting additional research online to ensure accurate assessments.

This position is flexible, remote, and typically requires 5–20 hours per week. Tasks are completed using a personal computer or mobile device.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate information presented in the rater's local language based on Account's provided guidelines and instructions.
  • Log onto Account's online proprietary rating system(s), which may vary by specific rating programs.
  • Use own computer, tablet, and/or smartphone for approximately 5–20 hours per week.
  • Perform ratings in an analytical manner and demonstrate familiarity with various online research tools.
  • May provide occasional comments in English.
  • Tasks involve evaluating a web page with information, links, and questions for the rater to answer.
  • Some tasks require outside research on the web; some do not.
  • Some tasks require working with mobile smartphones (Android or iOS).
  • Raters complete the task, submit it, then receive and work on another task.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with online research tools.
  • Ability to work remotely using a personal computer or mobile device.
  • Ability to provide occasional comments in English.
