Job Title

Composition Editor - Advanced Content Development

Job Description As a member of our Composition team, the applicant will be required to perform several key tasks:
1. Display strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
2. Demonstrate thorough knowledge of various products, databases, and workflows.
3. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all scheduled deliverables.
4. Initiate final product output extraction according to schedule or content owner signoff.
5. Conduct rules-based quality assurance/proof review as part of editing process, adhering to established standards, along with verification of specific styling, format, and standardization rules.
6. Meet and/or exceed established quality and production metrics.
7. Monitor, track, and report on work status to stakeholders for publications and product release.
8. Assist in creating and maintaining documentation, training, and evaluating work of other group members.
9. Participate in or lead project efforts, as assigned by manager.
10. Collaborate with production and development staff on functionality enhancements.
11. Identify and implement new process opportunities.Required Skills and Qualifications The candidate should possess a college degree and have very strong attention to details and sharp analytical skills. Preferred fields of study include Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, and Visual Graphics Design.

Effective communication skills in both written and oral formats, specifically in US English language, are also essential.

The candidate must be able to verbalize thoughts clearly and feel comfortable interacting with foreign partners and stakeholders.

The candidate must also possess solid multi-tasking skills and effective time management, with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced, deadline-driven work environment.

Benefits This role offers the opportunity to work with advanced content development, utilizing Adobe Creative Suite applications, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and MS Office Applications. Familiarity with the Internet and online information searching is also a plus. Additionally, XML/SGML knowledge is advantageous.
