Job Title: Attorney Editor Lead

This role involves leading a team of editorial professionals to ensure the accuracy and quality of content. The ideal candidate will have strong editorial judgment, be able to prioritize tasks, and possess excellent communication skills.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Oversight: Oversee work assignments, training processes, and act as a senior colleague responding to team queries.
  • Content Review, Analysis, Editing, and Writing: Review existing content, identify key issues, and demonstrate expertise in research tools.
  • Editorial Responsibility: Adhere to publishing schedules and quality standards, verify work for accuracy and completeness, and ensure proper presentation and organization.
  • Development Opportunities: Participate in meetings, take part in evaluation processes, and develop knowledge of products and services.
  • Self-direction: Prioritize own work, understand roles and responsibilities, and demonstrate expertise in company systems.
  • Collaboration with AI Efforts: Involved in AI development, including experimentation, prompting, and evaluating results.

About You:

  • Hold a Juris Doctorate degree or equivalent relevant legal training.
  • Be a self-motivated individual with an aptitude for legal research, writing, and analysis.
  • Have a keen eye for detail and established proof-reading skills.
  • Be an analytical thinker who uses logic and discretion to collaborate with global teams to solve complex problems.
  • Decisive with a focus on making high-quality decisions quickly.
  • Have the ability to interpret, analyze, organize, and communicate complex legal material effectively.
  • Be comfortable with technology and familiar with word processing and online applications.
  • Prior experience leading a team is advantageous.
