About the Role

You will be responsible for managing and mentoring a team of utility engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections, data accuracy, and process improvements within the electric utility sector.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of utility engineers, ensuring high-quality inspections and data accuracy.
  • Oversee the cataloging of utility assets and identification of equipment issues or hazards.
  • Ensure quality control of work packages and compliance with project standards.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and training to junior engineers.
  • Collaborate with utility companies to ensure project goals and deliverables are met.
  • Work closely with internal teams to align data accuracy with industry standards.
  • Stay updated on industry standards, regulations, and best practices to enhance operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in training programs to enhance technical knowledge and skill development.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 5+ years of experience in the electric utility field (preferred).
  • Strong leadership, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient computer skills with good written and oral communication abilities.
  • A working knowledge of national electrical safety codes, national engineering standards, utility construction standards, and best industry engineering practices (nice-to-have).
