Job Title: IT Project Manager

The IT Project Manager is responsible for coordinating and overseeing the successful execution of IT projects from inception to completion. They ensure timely delivery, alignment with business goals, and effective collaboration between technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and expectations.
  • Manage changes to project scope, schedule, and costs using appropriate verification techniques, minimizing risks and maximizing value.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, fostering open communication, trust, and cooperation among team members.
  • Liaise with business leaders, IT teams, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project delivery and alignment.
  • Facilitate meetings, provide regular status updates, and ensure stakeholder expectations are managed and met.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive approach to issues that may arise during project execution.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that impact project progress, applying analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Implement best practices for IT project management to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Define and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and value for money.
  • Allocate resources efficiently, balancing project demands and business priorities, maximizing productivity and results.
  • Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and business requirements, adhering to industry best practices.
  • Track project performance, providing detailed reports on project status, risks, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications & Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  • 4-7 years of experience in IT project management or a related field, with a proven track record of success.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Microsoft Project), leveraging technology to enhance project delivery.
  • Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, software development lifecycle (SDLC), and cloud computing, staying up-to-date with industry trends and innovations.
  • Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, and Waterfall methodologies, applying flexible and adaptable approaches to project delivery.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, inspiring and motivating team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, making informed decisions that drive project success.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Candidates must have the necessary resources and equipment, both hardware and required software, to perform their job duties effectively.
  • Fast, reliable, secure internet connection with a minimum speed of 10 mbps is required.
