Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Manager to lead our design department and oversee the work of 4 designers in supporting US-based sales and operations teams. This role requires excellent leadership skills, technical expertise, and the ability to ensure timely and accurate designs that meet or exceed industry standards.


Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a high-performing design team that delivers quality designs on time
  • Develop and maintain design standards that ensure field success
  • Review designs for technical accuracy, code compliance, and constructability
  • Partner with sales teams to understand client needs and project constraints
  • Collaborate with operations to ensure designs are practical and installable

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in managing design teams in electrical, AV, solar, or related fields
  • Strong technical background in electrical systems design and technology integration
  • Proven ability to manage remote teams and maintain consistent quality standards
  • Experience with AutoCAD and specialized electrical design software
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of US electrical codes (NEC) and construction industry standards
