Business Intelligence Analyst

About the Role

This position involves leveraging large data sets to gain insights and make informed decisions within a team environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, business acumen, and effective communication abilities.

  • The primary responsibility is to collect, analyze, and visualize data to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • This role requires collaboration with stakeholders to understand data flow and usage between applications.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and managing cross-functional performance indicators (KPIs) to deliver related insights.
Key Responsibilities

The following are the key responsibilities of this role:

  • Work collaboratively with lead Business Intelligence Consultant or Supervisor to plan and deliver analysis to operational management.
  • Packaging complex information to drive forward actionable insights.
  • Ensuring data accuracy, timeliness, and validation prior to presentation.
  • Supporting business solution requirements and partnering with development and application delivery teams on developing reports/dashboards.
Requirements

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • 2-4 years of experience with data analysis and preparation, including experience with medium to large data sets.
  • Strong business and collaboration skills, and responsiveness to service needs and operational demands.
  • BPO experience and BPO metrics knowledge preferred.
Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • Advanced Excel skills covering Power pivots and Macros.
  • Intermediate SQL, data visualization tools, and a strong background in medium to large-scale, shared data environments.
  • Excellent communications skills (both verbal and written); ability to interface with senior leadership.
