Data Analyst Specialist


About the Role

This role is responsible for collecting and analyzing large amounts of data to enable visualization, insights, and data-driven decision-making within a team.

The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders and users to understand data flow and usage between applications.

  • Interfacing with relevant stakeholders and users to understand data flow and usage between applications.
  • Support gathering requirements and provide consultation/solution design.
  • Communicate effectively during the development phase.
  • Conduct and lead UAT, troubleshooting and resolution.
  • End-user engagement: communication and education.
  • End-to-end lifecycle of dashboards/reports, including planning and delivery of analysis to operational management (root cause analysis, impact assessment, and identification of process improvements).
  • Package complex and ambiguous information to drive actionable insights.
  • Leverage data and information structure to ensure a single source of truth.
  • Improve data availability by acting as a subject matter expert between cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure data accuracy, timeliness and validation prior to presentation.
  • Support business solution requirements and partner with development and application delivery teams on developing reports/dashboards for daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual KPI dashboards.
  • Work closely with multi-department subject matter experts to support effective reporting and assist with testing for updates/improvements to existing systems.
  • Develop reference materials for mapping and cross-referencing; create playbooks, SOPs, and knowledge base documentation.
  • Promote collaboration across organizational boundaries and help break down functional silos to drive measurable business results.
  • Maintain confidentiality.
