Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Project Finance Analyst to join our team. This is a full-time position that offers 100% remote work with company-provided equipment.


Key Responsibilities
  • Create and enhance portfolio-level financial models to inform budgets and reforecasts, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Develop project-level budget-to-actual variance analysis and communicate findings to operational teams, highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Analyze and investigate underperformance and optimization opportunities of operating assets, providing actionable recommendations to drive improved results.
  • Prepare comprehensive reporting packages and various deliverables to investors and lenders, demonstrating expertise and professionalism.
  • Collaborate with operational teams to ensure delivery of key alerts and protect portfolios from operational risk, maintaining a proactive approach.
  • Build data infrastructure that enables the team to isolate and investigate key performance drivers such as energy rates and energy production, fostering data-driven decision making.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, with relevant coursework and experience preferred.
  • Creative mindset with proven analytical ability and attention to detail, driving innovative solutions and high-quality results.
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, efficiently managing multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, effectively conveying complex information to diverse stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate information, ideas, and perspectives with people inside and beyond your organization, promoting collaboration and understanding.
  • Experience working with large datasets, querying databases, and using ERP systems such as NetSuite, leveraging technical expertise to drive business outcomes.
  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel), utilizing software tools to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
