Job Overview

This role involves providing administrative support to the Human Resources department, ensuring timely and accurate handling of HR documentation and compliance tasks.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Process and track FMLA, ADA accommodations, Workers' Compensation, Leave Administration, and Unemployment Claims
  • Maintain and update HRIS and personnel files with accuracy and confidentiality
  • Assist with coordinating onboarding and offboarding including orientation, background checks, I-9 compliance, and exit interviews
  • Respond to employee inquiries and monitor the HR inbox
  • Track training, performance evaluations, and employee documentation
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and internal communication efforts
Key Performance Indicators:
  • Timely and accurate handling of HR documentation and compliance tasks
  • High data integrity across HRIS platforms and reports
  • Anticipating deadlines and ensuring compliance filings are completed
  • Supporting engagement initiatives that enhance employee experience
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration, or a related field
  • 2–3 years of experience as an HR Coordinator, HR Assistant, or HR/Admin supporting US based companies
  • Hands-on experience with FMLA, ADA, Workers' Compensation, leave administration and unemployment-related processes
  • Solid understanding of US federal and state labor laws and general HR practices
