Role Overview

The Educational Payroll Specialist is an integral part of our organization, playing a crucial role in the success of our operations by coordinating instructors, tracking student progress, and providing quality customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate with instructors to ensure seamless delivery of academic services to students and their families.
  • Perform payroll functions and other related tasks to support Regional Operations.
  • Provide exceptional academic support to students and their families, ensuring they receive the best possible experience.
  • Operate efficiently in a virtual environment, maintaining high standards of productivity and professionalism.
  • Ensure the delivery of programs and initiatives for our students and school district partners, meeting operational excellence standards.
  • Manage class schedules to effectively staff sessions and meet company efficiency and usage targets.
  • Manage virtual tutoring sessions, monitoring student progress and providing support as needed.
  • Conduct regular conferences with partner program directors to review progress, adjust academic plans, and renew enrollments.
Requirements
  • Experience in handling payroll through ADP payroll provider is highly desirable.
  • Excellent time management, planning, and prioritization skills are essential.
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple responsibilities successfully, ensuring high levels of productivity and accuracy.
  • Exhibits professional and approachable demeanor, fostering positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to prioritize and focus on key objectives, adapting to changing circumstances as required.
  • Effective communication skills, both in virtual environments and in person.
  • Proficient in using various communication media, including phone, video, and email.
  • Ability to build engagement and trust in virtual relationships, whether with customers or team members.
  • Works well with others, contributing to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Learning agility - able to adapt to changes in work environment by changing behaviors as required.
  • Ability to acquire new skills as required, ensuring continued growth and development.
  • Ability to engage, manage and grow virtual relationships with customers, employees, and business partners (e.g. local schools).
  • Ability to manage remote teachers, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • High tolerance for ambiguity, ability to work independently and make decisions with minimal supervision.
  • Bachelor's Degree required, 2-3 years progressive career growth desired.
  • Experience working in a virtual operations and team environment highly beneficial.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications, bilingual in English and Spanish a plus.
